How to Set the Daily Timer on the JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox

JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox allows you to set a daily timer. Once you set the timer it will be activated every day at the same time until you switch off the timer. The timer indicator blinks on the display once the timer is set. However, you can set the daily timer only using the remote. Here is how to set the Daily Timer on your JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox.

Instructions

1. Press ON/STANDBY on the remote.

2. Press CLOCK/TIMER, you will observe ‘TIMER ON?’ on the display.

3. Press SET to turn on the timer setting. This will display the existing timer settings on your player. Press ‘CANCEL’ to cancel the timer. Ignore steps 2 and 3 if you are setting up daily timer for the first time.

4. Press CLOCK/TIMER once more to reset the timer or to set the timer for the very first time. Notice the timer indicator (clock symbol) and ON indicator are on the display. The hour digit of present ON time will appear on the display.

5. Adjust the ON time by pressing >>| or |<< to select the hour digit. Press SET to confirm your choice.

6. Press >>| or |<< to select the minute digit. Press SET to confirm your choice. This time will appear every time you turn on the system. Now the ‘OFF’ indicator will appear on the display.
   
   

7. Adjust the OFF by pressing >>| or |<< to select the hour digit. Press SET to confirm your choice.
   
   

8. Press >>| or |<< to select the minute digit. Press SET to confirm your choice.

9. Choose the music source by pressing >>| or |<<. You can make your selection from TUNER, TU>TAPE, CD, TAPE. You will see REC on the display if you choose TU>TAPE. Once the tuner recording is completed the timer will be cancelled.
   
   

10. Press SET once the music source has been selected.

11. Choose the volume by pressing >>| or |<<. You can choose the volume anywhere from 0 to 50. If you want to maintain the present volume level select _ _.
    
    

12. Set up the music source you have selected. If you have selected TUNER, then tune into the desired station. The last tuned station will be recorded if you have selected TU>TAPE. Put in the cassette to record the station. Insert a CD if you have selected CD as the source. For TAPE insert a tape.

13. Switch off the player by pressing ON/STANDBY.

Tips & Warnings

• Cancel the operation by pressing CLOCK/TIMER until display come back to the original mode.
• Cancel the timer by pressing CLOCK/TIMER and then press CANCEL.
• Reactivate the clock timer by pressing CLOCK/TIMER and then SET.
