How to Transfer Music From a Computer to the SanDisk Sansa MP3 Player

Transferring music to your SanDisk Sansa MP3 Player allows you to personalize your device. You will be able to include songs that interest you when you are in various moods. Here's how to transfer music from your computer to the SanDisk Sansa MP3 Player.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Check to see that the player is in MSC mode by going to the USB mode section in the Settings menu.

  2. Step 2

    Plug the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player into your computer.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the Start menu.

  4. Step 4

    Click on My Computer.

  5. Step 5

    You will now see a drive for the device and one for the SD card.

  6. Step 6

    Double click on the Sansa device.

  7. Step 7

    Go to the My Music folder or the location of your music files.

  8. Step 8

    Choose songs from your folder and drag and drop them to your Sansa device.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you have all MP3 files saved to your hard disk.
  • You can copy and paste songs onto your Sansa device rather than dragging and dropping them in step 8.
