By following a few simple steps your iTunes application can change the frequency with which it downloads the podcast. It can monitor the podcast and download it immediately when updated, or it can even download a preset number of previous podcasts from the site with the current podcast for listening on your iPod. Tips & Warnings
  • You can always return to this menu to make adjustments so don't be afraid of damaging the iTunes application. However make sure to make a note of exactly what you changed so you can change it back if it does not suit your taste.
  • Be wary of the size of the podcasts if you are downloading to upload to your iPod. You can quickly overrun the memory on your iPod if you chose to download an excessive number of previous podcasts.
