As the largest online photo sharing service on the Web, Yahoo! Photos has developed several fun ways for you to organize and share your digital photos and images. One option is to create a Yahoo! 360 account. Yahoo! 360 is a blog-style service with a variety of features including blogs, reviews, feeds, groups and more. You can also use Yahoo! 360 to share your Yahoo! Photos albums with friends, family and the public in just a few easy steps.

    Sharing Photos with Yahoo! 360

  1. Step 1

Click the “My Page” link at the top of your Yahoo! 360 Home page.

  2. Step 2

Click “Share Photos” (located at the top right of the page).

  3. Step 3

Share your photos by changing the privacy settings on your albums. You can make albums public so that anyone can view them, or choose to limit them by selecting “Friends only.”

  4. Step 4

Click “Save” when you’re finished and reload your Yahoo! 360 pages.

  5. Step 5

Click “Preview as seen by” in the drop-down menu to check that you’ve made the right albums public. This feature allows you to view the album as if you were someone on your friends list or a member of the public.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you already have a Yahoo! Photos account, getting a Yahoo! 360 account is quick and simple. Head to the 360 site and sign up in just a few minutes. (See Resources below, for the Web site address.)
  • You can set individual permissions for each album.
  • As with other Yahoo! Photos sharing methods, you cannot share Smart Albums in this way. Because of their design, the contents of Smart Albums can change without you viewing new additions. Therefore, Smart Albums are not sharable, which prevents you from inadvertantly sharing photos you want to remain private.
  • If you have photos marked “Mature” in any of your Yahoo! Photos albums, those photos won’t be displayed in Yahoo! 360 (the rest of the album will display as normal).
  • You can make it easier for Yahoo! Photos friends to find you at Yahoo! 360 by changing your ID's display on 360 pages. Click the “Settings” link on your Home page and scroll down to Yahoo! Identity Display to modify your identification options on 360 pages.
  • The photos you upload and use on Yahoo! Photos and Yahoo! 360 must have .jpeg or .jpg file extensions. You'll receive an error message if you try to upload files with any other extension type. If you have image files with other extensions, convert them to the correct type in an image editor (such as MS Paint).
