Tips & Warnings
  • You can rename your photos and edit tags and descriptions as many times as you like.
  • Names have a character limit of 40, and tags and descriptions have a limit of 200 characters each. These limits include spaces, numbers and symbols.
  • Since you have a character limit for names, tags and descriptions, make your words count. Use names, tags and descriptions that help you identify the contents of photos in your album. This will help you keep all your photos and albums organized. If you have a large number of photos, giving them distinctive names will make it much easier to keep track of them all.
  • If you plan to make any of your photos public, appropriate names and descriptions will also help people locate a specific album more easily. For example, if you’ve just uploaded a large collection of vacation pictures, you might want to give them names that include their location, the people in them or the date they were taken.
  • Make sure you use names and descriptions that are work-safe and appropriate for children, if you intend to make the photos public.
