Tips & Warnings
There are many different ways you can use the album rearranging feature to let your photos tell a story. For example, you can create an album that features photos of a single person or pet and arrange them in chronological order so that the story begins with a birth and shows life events in the order they happened. Alternatively, you can rearrange an album of wedding photographs to tell the story of the wedding (or another such event). Because you can email invitations to view the photos to multiple people at once, this is a great way to display share photos with all your guests.
You cannot rearrange photos in a Smart Album or photos in the "All My Photos" collection. Because the contents of these collections change as you upload new photos, any rearranging you do in these albums might therefore be lost as soon as new photos are added to the collection.
Although photos in the "All My Photos" collection can't be rearranged, you can sort them by date and name. To do this, click the "Sort By" link that appears just below the photo tray. Click the type of sorting arrangement you want to use, which will reload the page with your new criteria (if you have a very large photo collection or a slow Internet connection, this could take a while).
The "All My Photos" collection allows you to reverse the order of your photos. Clicking "Reverse Sort" will reverse the current order of the photos. For example, if your photos are ordered by name (which means they're sorted alphabetically), "Reverse Sort" will arrange them in reverse alphabetical order. The "Reverse Sort" option is located in the "Sort By" menu.
