Tips & Warnings
  • To check which photos you've published, sign out of Yahoo! Photos and then navigate to the Web address where your published photos are located. By logging out of your account, you'll view the page as though you were someone else, so the photos you see on the page are all the ones you have published.
  • Making photos or albums public is the best way of sharing them if you don't want to send out a lot of email invitations and if you're not worried about privacy issues.
  • By default, people who view your published photos and albums can add comments and order prints of the photos. Click the Settings button on the Yahoo! Photos home page to change these settings. You can also allow people to add tags to your photos (although this not recommended because doing so could interfere with the way you've organized them). These options can't be set individually for different photos and albums-the settings you choose will apply to every photo you publish.
  • The albums and photos you publish are viewable by anyone who finds your Web pages. If you're not comfortable with strangers seeing your photos, use another method to share them with friends (such as via email invitations or Yahoo! Messenger).
