How to Play a CD on the Coby MP-CD475 Boombox

Pop a CD into the portable Coby MP-CD475 boombox and you're ready to play. Here's how to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Coby MP-CD475 boombox
Step1
Press the button that says "Open/Close CD Door" to open the CD compartment.
Step2
Load the CD with the label side facing up.
Step3
Press the same button to close the CD compartment. The display containing the total number of tracks on the CD will flash as soon as the CD is loaded.
Step4
Press PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playback. The LCD display will flash the current track number.
Step5
Pressing the "Play/Pause" button temporarily halts the playback. Pressing the button again resumes playback.
Step6
Press the "Forward" button once to jump to the next track. Press and hold the "Forward" button to fast-forward a current track.

Step7
Press "Rewind" to select a previous track. Press and hold the same button to reverse through a current track.

Step8
Pressing the "Stop" button end playback.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use a CD that is deeply scratched or soiled. (CDs can be cleaned, but get instructions first.)
  • Do not simultaneously insert more than one CD or you might damage the unit.
