1. Press the "Close/Insert" button to open the audiocassette compartment.

2. Insert a Typo I (normal) audiocassette into the compartment.

3. Lightly push the door to close the compartment.
   
   

4. Press the "Play" button.
   
   

5. Turn the volume button on the boombox to adjust the volume, or press "Volume +" or "Volume -" on the remote.

6. Press the "Forward" button or "Rewind" buttons to skip over portions of the tape.

7. Pressing the "Pause" button temporarily stops the tape.

8. Gently press the "Stop/Eject" button to stop play. To eject the tape, press harder.
