  1. Step 1

    Using your favorite search engine, find several article directories with subject matter pertaining to your Web site. You can also use the search engine to scour the Internet for articles.

  2. Step 2

    Once you have chosen a site with relevant articles, perform a search on your subject.

  3. Step 3

    When you have found an article you like, check it for several key factors such as 5 percent keyword density, a minimum of 500 words and a writing style that likely will appeal to your readers.

  4. Step 4

    Check the article's terms of usage.

  • Make sure all content is original. You can enter key sentence from an article in a search engine to find out if the author has plagiarized the material.
