If you have already stored observing sites to your telescope's memory, you can use this feature to quickly find your favorite celestial objects from different geographic locations. You can store up to six observing sites in the memory of your Meade Autostar computer controller, which directs your Meade LX90GPS telescope.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Meade Autostar computer controller
  • Meade LX90GPS Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope

Step1
Go to "Site: Select" on the Autostar menu.

Step2
Select "Enter."

Step3
Select the correct choice from your list of sites.

Step4
Press "Enter."

Tips & Warnings

  • Before you begin, make sure you understand how Autostar works and how to use the menu.
  • You will also need to have initialized Autostar, and the telescope should be in the "Home" position.
