How to Install the Batteries for Your Meade NightView Digital Night-Vision Monocular

Correctly installing batteries into your NightView device is critical to proper functioning. Follow these steps to ensure that your device will run.

Things You’ll Need:

• Meade NightView Digital Night-Vision Monocular

1. Move back the lid on the battery compartment.
2. Install six AA batteries into the pack. Orient them according to the pictures in the pack's battery slots.
3. Attach the 9v connector to the top of the battery pack.
4. Return the battery pack to the battery compartment.
5. Put the lid back on the battery compartment.

Tips & Warnings

• When performing Step 4, be sure the 9v connector wires are not under the battery; they should be behind the connector.
• You must supply your own batteries.
• Your batteries could explode, catch fire or leak if you install them incorrectly. These events will void your warranty.
• Do not mix battery types or old and new batteries.
