Things You’ll Need:
- Meade DSX-125C Altazimuth-Cassegrain Telescope
Step1
Make sure the tripod base lock knob and the Altitude Lock are tight.
Step2
Make sure Autostar is installed correctly on your telescope.
Step3
Turn on the telescope.
Step4
Press the key prompted by the telescope to indicate that you have read the warning about the sun.
Step5
Press "Enter" to bypass the "Help" tutorial.
Step6
Use the arrow keys to enter the month and then press "Enter."
Step7
Use the number keys to enter the time and the arrow keys to enter a.m. or p.m.
Step8
Use the scroll keys and then press "Enter" to indicate the status of daylight saving time.
Step9
Select the country you are in by using the scroll keys and then press "Enter."
Step10
Select the city closest to you by using the scroll keys and then press "Enter."
Step11
Use the scroll keys to indicate the model number of your telescope and then press "Enter."
Step12
The screen will now read "Align Easy." The alignment process is complete.
