Calculating sunset time lets you return to your Meade DSX-90 Altazimuth-Cassegrain telescope at the appropriate time to view certain objects. Here's how to do it.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Meade DSX-90 Altazimuth-Cassegrain telescope

Step1
Touch the "Mode" key until you see "Select Item Object" on the display screen.

Step2
Use the "Scroll" key until you find the "Event" option in the "Select Item" menu.

Step3
Use the "Enter" key to select the "Event" option.

Step4
Move down one level and you will see "Event Sunrise."

Step5
Use the "Scroll Down" key to find the "Sunset" option on the "Event" menu and press "Enter."

Step6
Move down another level.

Step7
Autostar will display the time of the coming sunset.

  • Autostar estimates sunset time based on your location, the time and the date.
