How to Set iTunes to Automatically Update Audiobooks on an iPod

iPod automatically updates when you connect to your computer and the iPod music library will be synched with the audiobooks in your computer's library. So, any new audiobooks automatically added to or deleted from your iTunes will automatically altered on your iPod. You don't need to anything except connect.

  • Computer with Internet access
  • iPod
  1. Step 1

    As soon as you connect your iPod to your computer, iTunes will automatically transfer audiobooks from iTunes. You do not have to perform any additional steps.

Tips & Warnings
  • You may want to automatically add only specific audiobooks if you have more audiobooks on your computer's library than currently fit on your iPod's library.
  • If you only want to transfer specific audiobooks, you can do so manually rather than automatically.
  • While you are listening to an audiobook, you may need to stop for some reason. When you return to your audiobook, the iPod automatically begins playing from the point at which you stopped.
