How to Send a Wireless Message Using a Nintendo DS Lite

The Nintendo DS Lite’s PictoChat program allows anyone within range of the DS Lite to wirelessly send and receive messages. To star communicating with your network, just follow these instructions.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Nintendo DS Lite

Step1
From your Nintendo DS Lite’s menu screen, select the "PictoChat" panel.
Step2
Select a chat room from the "PictoChat" panel screen. Enter the room you've selected.
Step3
Start chatting by clicking on a specific individual or transmitting a message to the group.
Step4
Write a message. Either use the stylus to write freehand on the bottom screen or use the DS Lite’s on-screen keyboard.
Step5
When you finish composing your message, hit the "Send" button. This will transmit the message through PictoChat.

Tips & Warnings

  • A chat room holding 16 people is full.
  • You can access PictoChat through the wireless Internet or by sitting next to someone carrying a Nintendo DS Lite.
