How to Have iTunes Automatically Transfer Songs to an iPod Shuffle

When you connect an iPod shuffle to a computer, iTunes will show you the songs that are going to be transferred to your iPod shuffle. Then iTunes automatically transfers the songs.

    The only step you need to take in order to have iTunes automatically transfer songs to your iPod shuffle is to connect your iPod shuffle to your computer. Your songs will be transferred without any additional action by you.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you delete any songs from your playlist on your computer, they will automatically be deleted from your iPod shuffle. Anything on your iPod shuffle that is not a music file will remain on your iPod shuffle.
  • If you prefer, you can transfer songs manually, delete songs or change the source iTunes uses to transfer songs.

on 12/17/2007 Hello: I have read that all you have to do is plug in your i-pod shuffle into your computers usb port & it will automaticlly transfer your itunes library songs onto your i-pod shuffle.Mine isn't doing this.Could you give some step by step instructions on how to do this.I have never used a mp3 before.Thanks
