How to Make a Hot Fudge Sundae
Hot, chocolaty sauce and cold vanilla ice cream: an unbeatable combination. For the best sundae, make your own hot fudge, ice cream, and whipped cream, or any of the above. (See the related eHows for instructions.) Serves one. Does this Spark an idea?

If you haven't made your own sauce, heat 1/4 c. to 1/2 c. (depending on how decadent you want to be) prepared sauce in the microwave.

Put 2 or 3 scoops vanilla ice cream into ice cream bowl.

Pour hot fudge over top of ice cream.

Top with whipped cream, a few cherries and nuts.

Tips & Warnings
You can use other ice cream flavors, but the combination of vanilla and fudge is a surefire winner.

Just like to mention the first hot fudge sundae was created at Brownie's Pharmacy soda fountain on Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles in the '30's. The pharmacy is long gone, the treat, thank GOODNESS, remains! -

This is a inexact recipe. You'll need to make adjustments as you go, but it's yummy. Get some Milky Way bars (either one or two big ones or four or five or six of the little Halloween bars). Also, get some whipping cream. Melt the Milky Way bars in the microwave (or over low heat on the stove). Stir in the cream until it's blended properly. Adjust the cream until you've got a thick (but runny) mixture. Pour it over ice cream. It's rich, but very easy. -
