Things You’ll Need:
- Internet access
- Computer
- Game Boy
Step1
Set up a seller's account on eBay by visiting the site and following the instructions.
Step2
Use your account to do a little research. You don't want to overprice or underprice your Game Boy. Search eBay and find out how much sellers are asking for their Game Boys. Check to see if these prices include any games.
Step3
Prepare your product. You have to make sure that all the items that are needed to operate your Game Boy are included. Are you including games? Get all of your items together.
Step4
Take pictures of your Game Boy. To post an auction on eBay, you will need to have a good picture of the item, so take a few pictures of everything together. Take photos from different angles so that the prospective buyers can inspect your Game Boy
Step5
Write a description of the item, which should cover everything included in your selling price. Re-read the description for any errors and to make sure it sounds right.
Step6
Post the auction. You can set a reserve price that will ensure that you get a minimum selling price for your Game Boy.
Step7
Watch the auction. Your auction will run for a certain amount of time. Just check in on it from time to time to see what's going on.
Step8
Collect your money when the item is sold. This money will come from the buyer's PayPal account.
Step9
Ship the item and package your Game Boy securely. Use bubble wrap or packing peanuts so that it doesn't get damaged during shipping. Take the package to the post office or another shipping store.
