How to Add Memory to a Dell Axim

The best way to improve your PDA's memory is to buy an expansion flash card. Find out how to put the card into a Dell Axim.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • CompactFlash II card
  • Dell Axim
  1. Step 1

    Go to your local electronics store or purchase a CompactFlash II card online.

  2. Step 2

    Remove the blank cartridge from the back of your Dell Axim.

  3. Step 3

    Line up the tab on the back of the memory card and the notch located in the slot of the Dell Axim. Slowly insert the card. Be careful, as forcing the card could damage your PDA.

  4. Step 4

    Use the memory card to store information and media files. The Axim will automatically detect the new card.

Tips & Warnings
  • Conserve memory by storing large media files on your home computer.
  • Use multiple cards to store more information.
