Set the Power Off Timer on Your iRiver Clix MP3 Player

Setting the power to turn itself off after a designated amount of time saves battery power. Saving power will, in the end, save you money. So, setting the power off timer is a good use of your time and will pay dividends in the end.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Main Menu.


  2. Step 2

    Select Settings.

  3. Step 3

    Choose Auto Power Off to choose the amount of time you would like to have between the beginning and end of allowable idle time. At the end of that amount of time, the device will automatically turn itself off.

  4. Step 4

    Choose Sleep to choose an amount of time before your iRiver Clix automatically turns itself off.

  5. Step 5

    Choose Backlight to set the amount of time the backlight will remain on.
