You can listen to audio cassettes on your Panasonic RX-D29 boombox. Audio cassettes with high metal position, though, may not play well. Here is how you can listen to an audio cassette with your Panasonic RX-D29 boombox.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Audio cassette
  • Panasonic RX-D29 boombox
  1. Step 1

    Press "Tape/Off."

  2. Step 2

    Press "Stop/Eject." Open the deck and load a cassette. Place the cassette facing upward. Close the deck by hand.

  3. Step 3

    Press "Play" to play the cassette. It will start playing and a "Tape" symbol will flash on the display.

  4. Step 4

    Adjust the volume as desired.

  5. Step 5

    Press "Stop/Eject" to stop playing. It will switch off the unit.

  6. Step 6

    Press the "Pause" button to stop playing the cassette.

  7. Step 7

    Use "Rew/Rev" for rewinding a song and use "FF/Cue" for searching forward during playback.

Tips & Warnings
  • Refer to the user's manual in case of any hindrance while playing.
  • Ensure that you use "Stop/Eject" before performing any operation on the play mode.
  • Cassette slack should be removed before playing it. If you play the cassette without removing the slack, it might get caught in the process.
  • Avoid pressing the "Play" button while rewinding or fast-forwarding. It might jam or damage the cassette.
  • Avoid using other stickers not included with the cassette tape. The cassette might get stuck or its sound quality might be affected.
