How to Change the Play Mode When Listening to the iRiver iFP-120/140/180T MP3 Player

The iRiver iFP-100 series gives you an option to change the mode of the play list and how the play list should operate. This includes options like Shuffle mode and Repeat mode, allowing you to play your music in any order you like.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iRiver iFP-120/140/180T MP3 player
  1. Step 1

    Switch on your player by pressing the Play button

  2. Step 2

    Select the Mode option by clicking on Menu/Navigation and going to Mode. This will give you various options on the screen like Shuffle and Repeat.

  3. Step 3

    Select from the options the mode you want to include in your playlist. For example, if you want the order of the songs in your playlist to change, you can click on the Shuffle option and if you want a particular playlist or a particular song to repeat, click on the Repeat option.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm your changes by clicking on the Mode button.

  5. Step 5

    Activate your mode while listening to your songs by clicking on the Mode/Record button.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can create the mode according to your priority. If a particular number is your favorite, you can click on Repeat mode to play it on a loop.
  • The Intro Mode option plays 10 seconds of each track. This will give you an idea whether you want to listen to all of a particular song.
  • Make sure your Mode is activated when you are listening to your playlist. If this is not activated, even if your have created a particular mode, it will not show on your playlist.
