How to Change the Recording Settings on Your Archos Gmini MP3 Player

If you are looking to record record quality sound on your Archos Gmini mp3 player, you will need to make a few minor adjustments to the default values. Likewise if you are into recording quantity over the quality of the recording, you will also need to change the default recording values on your Gmini mp3 player. To actually change the recording settings on your Archos Gmini mp3 only takes a few keystrokes.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Power up your Archos Gmini mp3 player.

  2. Step 2

    Go to the main menu. Click on the "Setup" icon.

  3. Step 3

    From the Setup menu, go to the "Recording" menu.

  4. Step 4

    Use the up and down on the control stick to select the desired setting to change.

  5. Step 5

    Right and left on the control stick will toggle between the options within the category.

  6. Step 6

    Once finished, click on the "Enter" key to save your settings changes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Changing the settings affects your music and your voice recordings. Always try to record at the lowest level to conserve disk space on your device.
  • Be aware that the settings changes are global. To adjust for a voice recording will also adjust the settings the next time that you record from other areas.
