Creating a playlist on your Creative Zen MP3 Player can help you stay organized. When you need songs for a specific purpose, such as exercising or working, you will be able to quickly access those songs rather than having to search through your entire music library to find the songs you would like to hear.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Turn on your device. Select and hold the "Menu Back" button.

  2. Step 2

You will now see the main menu. Select "Music Library."

  3. Step 3

Select and add new tracks to the "Selected Music Now Playing" list you would like to have in your playlist.

  4. Step 4

Select a track or category you want in your playlist. Press the "Options" button and then "Add to Selected."

  5. Step 5

After adding all the songs you would like in your playlist, go to the main menu and choose "Now Playing."

  6. Step 6

In the "Now Playing" screen, select the "Options" button and then "Save as Playlist" from the menu.

  7. Step 7

Name your playlist using the navigation controls.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can put a music category in its entirety in a playlist. For example, you could add an album, artist or genre. Of course, you can also add individual songs to your playlist.
  • To view or play your playlist, open the "Music Library" and then choose "Playlist."
  • Make sure your "Now Playing" queue is cleared before starting this process. Go to "Music Library" and select "Now Playing." Press the "Options" button, then choose "Remove," and then choose "Remove All."
