The iRiver iFP 700 series is a tribute to indulgence in innovation. Boasting several different playback modes, the iRiver is a technology lover's dream and provides more gadgets than most of the competition. In addition to that, the iRiver iFP 700 series is also thought to be the most durable mp3 player around, both in terms of hardware and memory, which lasts longer through many record and delete cycles. Furthermore, the variety of playback modes available, including a unique Intro Mode, make the iRiver a market leading mp3 player.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • iRiver instructional booklet (optional)
  • iRiver MP3 player
Step1
Turn on your iRiver iFP at the "Power on" button. Additionally, make sure your earphones are connected.
Step2
Select the Main Menu navigation screen. Depending on the model, you may also be able to switch "Playback mode" from the unit itself.
Step3
Navigate through the menus and submenus available until you reach the "Playback mode" screen.
Step4
Scroll through and select the playback mode you wish to opt for.
Step5
Make your selection and withdraw to the main display screen.

Tips & Warnings

  • When playing in "Intro mode," you can select the length of time tracks play. Scroll through the navigation menu to find settings and choose from the presets or alternatively set your own time where possible.
  • Consult the complimentary instructional booklet that comes with your iRiver to find out how to work the various additional functions available with your iRiver. Additionally, this may help to clarify the way to switch playback modes and to learn more about the general navigational structure of your particular iRiver model if you are at all unsure.
  • When changing through various playback modes, ensure you remember how to reset to standard play. Otherwise, you might have trouble if you decide to revert back to the traditional playback mode without resetting all your preferences. This can mean losing any other settings that you have saved on your iRiver mp3 player.
