You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to learn how to play a CD with the Durabrand CD-208 Portable CD/MP3 Player. Just follow these simple directions to play a CD with Durabrand CD-208 Portable CD/MP3 Player.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 6 (size “D”) batteries (if needed)
  • Durabrand CD-208 Portable CD/MP3 Player
  • AC Cord
  • CD
  • Power supply (electricity)

Step1
Connect one end of the AC power cord to the CD player by inserting it in the socket located at the rear of the CD player. The power cord is supplied with the CD player.
Step2
Slide the "Function" switch to the MP3/CD position, which also means "Power on." This will switch on the power light. The symbol "-“ is located next to the power light and indicates that a new cycle on the display will start.
Step3
Lift the CD door to open it and push a CD down on to the center spindle. Make sure that you place the CD correctly. The label side of the CD should face upward.
Step4
Close the CD DOOR. The symbol “- “will flash on the display, showing the total tracks and total playing time of the CD inserted. Player will automatically begin to play.

Tips & Warnings

  • Display will show “no disc” if there is no disc in the CD compartment or if the CD is placed upside down in the CD compartment.
  • “Open” will show in the display if the CD door is opened.
  • If you are running the CD player on batteries, ensure that the batteries are not weak or used up. You can still use your CD player to play the radio as it does not require a lot of power.
  • Handle batteries with utmost care.
  • Be gentle when lifting and closing the CD door.
