How to Listen to the Radio on the Durabrand CD-208 Portable CD/MP3 Player

Listening to the radio on the Durabrand CD-208 Portable CD/MP3 Player is very simple. All you have to do is to tune it to the radio station you would like to hear.

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 size ā€œDā€ Batteries (if needed)
  • Durabrand CD-208 Portable CD/MP3 Player
  • AC Cord
  • CD
  • Power supply (electricity)

    Steps to Listen to the Radio

  1. Step 1

    Connect one end of the AC power cord to the CD player by inserting it in the socket located at the rear of the CD player. The power cord is supplied with the CD player. Alternatively, you can operate the CD-208 player using 6 batteries (size D).

  2. Step 2

    Slide the "Function" switch to the radio position. It will turn on the power light.

  3. Step 3

    Slide the "Band" switch and select the band position. For example, choose AM, FM or FM STEREO.

  4. Step 4

    Use the tuning knob to tune into the station you prefer. Adjust for the clearest sound. The indicator will light up, showing that it is receiving an FM STERO broadcast.

  5. Step 5

    Slide the volume control button to adjust the volume.

  6. Step 6

    Enjoy the music without disturbing others by inserting the headphones plug into the phones jack.

  7. Step 7

    Turn the radio off by sliding the "Function" switch to the OFF position.

    Change the position of the antenna for FM or FM Stereo.

    Extend the FM antenna fully. Bend it or rotate it for improved broadcast reception.
