How to Add Lyrics to Songs in iTunes

You can add lyrics to songs you have in iTunes. You may want to take this step so you can see the words to the song you're playing. Find out how to do this by typing or pasting song lyrics in plain text format into iTunes.

Instructions

1. Choose a song you want to add lyrics to.

2. From the "File" menu, choose "Get Info."

3. Select the "Lyrics" tab within the box that appears.

4. Add the song lyrics in the text box, either by typing, copying or pasting them.

5. Select "OK."

Tips & Warnings

• Copying and pasting lyrics will be much faster than typing them.
