How to Connect a Dell Axim to an Ethernet Network

Dell Axim's can do many of the same things that a personal computer can in a smaller package. A handy feature is the ability to connect your Axim to the Internet using an Ethernet card. Follow these steps to connect a Dell Axim to an Ethernet network.

• Dell Axim

1. Plug the Ethernet cable into your Axim. The Ethernet jack should be located on the back of your Axim.

2. From the “Start” menu, go to “Settings.” This will give you numerous options for how you want to set up your Axim.

3. Click “Connections.” This will give you a list of ways to connect your Axim to the Internet.

4. Select "Local area connection." This will give you a list of the Internet signals you're receiving through your Ethernet cable.

5. Click “Connect” and connect to the Ethernet connection.

• Make sure the Ethernet cable is firmly plugged into your Axim.
• A password may be required for secure networks.
