How to Record a Voice Message on a Dell Axim

1. Access the voice recording feature of your Dell Axim. On the X5 models this is done by pressing the record button on the side of the device, and on X3 models you’ll press the navigation button on the left.
2. Access the Notes function alternatively by using your stylus to open the Notes application and then use it to select the icon shaped like a cassette tape.
3. Speak clearly toward your device. You can adjust the microphone recording settings selecting start, then settings, then system and finally microphone.
4. Once you’ve recorded your sound, you can use it however you want: as a reminder, as a startup prompt, etc.
5. Compress your files to save room on your Dell Axim’s hard drive. The recorded files are .wav by default.
