How to Listen to Music on an HP iPAQ

1. Familiarize yourself with the basic functions of the iPAQ.
2. Add your music to your iPAQ. You can use the iPAQ’s wireless capability (on some models) to download your music from your computer, or simply plug it in using the provided cables or a storage card.

4. Download music files to your iPAQ. Many HP iPAQs are equipped with either Bluetooth technology or wireless Internet which will allow you to download songs from the Internet directly to your HP iPAQ.
5. Navigate to your iPAQ music. Microsoft digital media player is installed on the HP iPAQ automatically, but there are other free music playing programs (like MortPlayer) which can be used to manage and play your songs.
6. Use headphones. The integrated speaker on the HP iPAQ is impressive for a handheld computer, but not capable of delivering in a noisy environment.
7. Consider HP’s new iPAQ music center. It is a separate device from the handheld computer which can store up to 400 CDs and receive Internet radio while stacking nicely on top of a stereo receiver.

• If you’re only using your handheld device to play music, a handheld computer offers more features and power than you need. Opt for a less expensive, more specialized MP3 player instead.
