Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Familiarize yourself with the basic functions of the iPAQ.
Step2
Add your music to your iPAQ. You can use the iPAQ’s wireless capability (on some models) to download your music from your computer, or simply plug it in using the provided cables or a storage card.
Step3
Use File Explorer on your HP iPAQ to simply drag and drop files from your computer to your iPAQ. It does take more time to transfer to your iPAQ than, say, an iPOD.
Step4
Download music files to your iPAQ. Many HP iPAQs are equipped with either Bluetooth technology or wireless Internet which will allow you to download songs from the Internet directly to your HP iPAQ.
Step5
Navigate to your iPAQ music. Microsoft digital media player is installed on the HP iPAQ automatically, but there are other free music playing programs (like MortPlayer) which can be used to manage and play your songs.
Step6
Use headphones. The integrated speaker on the HP iPAQ is impressive for a handheld computer, but not capable of delivering in a noisy environment.
Step7
Consider HP’s new iPAQ music center. It is a separate device from the handheld computer which can store up to 400 CDs and receive Internet radio while stacking nicely on top of a stereo receiver.
