3. Know what kind of reset you need to do. Are you resetting because your device is frozen? In that case you just need to do a soft reset. You would do a hard reset to remove all settings and programs.
4. Do a soft reset. This is also referred to as a normal reset. You do this one when you just need to restart your system. Find your Reset button. The button will be a little indented. Use your stylus to press the reset button. You don’t need to push it very hard to reset the device.
5. Do a hard reset. This is also referred to as a full reset. This is to only be used when you want to clear all your settings and programs. First push the power button down and hold it. Now press the reset button. You will hold both buttons down at the same time. Then release the power button and then the reset button. This resets your device.
