At some point, you are going to need to remove old software from your Dell Axim. Whether it is to make room for new software or just to get rid of unused programs, you can remove old software rather easily. Follow these steps to remove old software from a Dell Axim.

Step1

Know your Axim. When you take time to tinker with your device, it will be easier for you to use the various functions on it. Just being familiar with the buttons and what your Axim can do will make it so much easier to know how to do anything on it. Also, it is good to know your model type.

Ask yourself which software needs to be deleted. This is important. You will need to know which program you want to remove when it comes to the step to remove it.

Review your manual. Before doing anything on your Axim it is a good idea to look over your manual. Or at least have it handy in case something happens, you have that extra source of information there.

Tap the Start menu. Now tap Settings. This will take you to where you can see the System Tab.

Tap the System tab and then Remove Programs. What you will see is a list of all your device’s programs. From there just tap and hold on the program’s name. A pop-up will appear. Click Delete on that. Now your program is deleted.
