On your Dell Axim, you can use Secure Digital Cards as extra storage or for back-ups. It is much like a disk for your regular home computer. You will need to remove and replace these cards while using your device. Here is how to remove a Secure Digital card from your Dell Axim.

Know your product. The best tool you have when using any electronic device is knowledge. Whether you have had your Axim for a long time or a short time, make sure that you take the time to learn your device. Know your model number as well. This is helpful when troubleshooting.

Locate your card slot. Slot location varies by model. But for the most part, the slot is located on the top of the device in the middle. When you are holding your Axim, have the screen facing you. Hold the device with one hand and use your other hand to feel on the top of the device. The slot should be located between the infrared sensor and the wireless antennae. The card should slide out of the top.

Make sure all the applications are closed and press the card in to release it. Press down and the slowly let the card come out of the device.
