A stylus is used just like a pen in order to transmit written or drawn data onto a PDA. Your stylus can be used to draw images, play games or make notes on your iPAQ. Learning to use the draw feature on your HP iPAQ will be helpful when you are trying to capture an image on your device. Follow these steps to learn how to draw on the screen of an HP IPAQ with a stylus.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • HP iPAQ
  • Stylus

Step1
Tap the Start menu. When it appears, touch the Notes icon, then touch the New option.
Step2
Draw on the screen using the stylus as you would a pen. Stay within the area of the note.
Step3
Tap the Pen icon when you are finished drawing. Touch the OK button to leave the program.
Step4
Remember, if you don’t save your drawing, you will lose it!

Tips & Warnings

  • You can write and draw within the same note, just make sure you lift up your stylus to begin a new line.
  • Edit your drawings by retrieving them through the Notes program.
  • Don’t press too hard with the stylus as it could damage either the screen or the stylus.
