How to Beam a Photo to Someone on a Dell Axim

Dell Axim gives users the capability to transfer items, such as photos, back and forth between devices using Bluetooth technology. For newer users, however, this may be a difficult process without some help. Follow these steps to learn how to beam a photo to some one on a Dell Axim.

  1. Step 1

    Turn on your Dell Axim. You can do this by pressing the power button on your device. Wait until the device is fully on before trying to make any selections.

  2. Step 2

    Find the right program. Click the Start button. This will give you a list of programs to choose from. Locate the Pictures folder on that list.

  3. Step 3

    Open the Pictures folder. Select the picture you want to beam by clicking on it. This will give you the option to choose Menu.

  4. Step 4

    Beam your photo. From the Menu you are able to select the Beam option. After you have chosen the device your photo will be sent to, beaming will begin.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure that you have saved an extra copy of you photo to your Dell Axim before beaming the original copy.
  • Be sure the device you are beaming to is within close distance to your device or connected with a cable to ensure proper beaming of your photo.
  • Be sure to receive all documents beamed to you before beaming anything to other devices.
