Step2
Enter an application. Find the application that your document is in by clicking Start, then Programs. Now click on the desired program from the list provided.
Step3
Find your document. Once in the correct application you can choose the document by clicking on its name.
Step4
Go to your Start menu. Click on the Settings tab, which will take you to the Connections menu. This menu will give you the option to beam a document.
Step5
Click Beam. Once you have chosen this option, beaming will begin.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure the path between your iPAQ and the device you plan to infrared beam to is clear.
  • Before beaming a document, be sure there are no incoming documents. If there are, you must receive them all before being able to send any.
  • Check your battery life before beaming a document, because if it is too low you may not be able to beam anything.
