How to Use Microsoft PowerPoint on an HP iPAQ

A pocket PC can be a great tool to save time and help organize daily life. It can be used with the Windows programs that many have grown accustomed to at their home and office PCs, including Microsoft PowerPoint. Follow the steps below to use Microsoft PowerPoint on a HP iPAQ.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • HP iPAQ
  • Stylus
Step1
Turn on your HP iPAQ by pressing and holding the round power button on the front of your device.
Step2
Tap on “Start” with your stylus. The stylus replaces your mouse.
Step3
Tap “Programs” then drag the stylus across to "PowerPoint Mobile.”
Step4
Tap the slide show you want to see from the exhibition list.
Step5
Tap the slide in progress to move forward to the next or wait for the slide to move forward automatically if it is set up to do so.
Step6
Tap "Slide Show" then "End Show" to end a slide show performance.

Tips & Warnings

  • See the screen behind a slide by tapping and dragging the slide until the information is within view.
  • Know that notes written for slides can not be viewed on PowerPoint Mobile.
  • Construction of slides is not possible on PowerPoint Mobile. It only has capabilities for viewing.
  • Support for PowerPoint Mobile is only available on Windows Mobile 5.0 or later.
