How to Change a Web Page Title in the Yahoo! Member Pages Directory

The title of your Web page is very important. The title will help potential visitors to your site decide whether or not they want to click your link and visit. Having a good, catchy and smart title is crucial to a Web page’s success. Follow these steps to learn how to change a Web page title in the Yahoo! Member Pages Directory.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
  • Yahoo! account
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Yahoo GeoCities home page. From here you will be able to edit your Web pages.

  2. Step 2

    Under “My Listings” click “Edit.” This will take you to the listings page, where you can look through your listings so you can find the one you wish to edit.

  3. Step 3

    Find the page with the title you wish to change and click “Edit.” This will take you to the editing page. From here you will be able to change your title.

  4. Step 4

    Change the title on the editing page. This can be done by highlighting your title and typing in a new one.

  5. Step 5

    Click “Finish”. By clicking finish, your changes will be saved.
