How to Add an Email Form to Your GeoCities Web Site

Having an email form on your Web site will give your visitors an opportunity to connect with you by expressing how they feel about your site. This will give them greater satisfaction with your Web site and will give you ideas on what you can do to make your site better. Follow these steps to add an email form to your GeoCities Web site.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
  • GeoCities account
Step1
Go to Yahoo! GeoCities home page. This will give you options on how you wish to edit your page. Generally it is the start page for any site improvements.
Step2
On the “Create and Update” tab, click "Add-Ons." This will take you to a list of things you can add on to your Web site.
Step3
Choose “Email Forms.” This will take you to page with examples of various email forms you can add to your Web site.
Step4
Look through the sample forms and choose the one you want to add to your page.
Step5
Click “Install Form” on the sample form you choose. This will take you to a page that will give you options on how to add the form to your site.
Step6
Click the “Select Code” button on the resulting page. You will be given the HTML code for the email form.
Step7
Copy the URL code.
Step8
Add it to the Web site by pasting the code into a HTML editor.
