Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • USB cradle
  • Dell Axim
  1. Step 1

Ensure that you have saved all important information on your Dell Axim. If necessary, you can synchronize the hand-held with your personal computer to back-up the data.

  2. Step 2

Locate your AC adapter and USB cradle.

  3. Step 3

Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.

  4. Step 4

Connect the adapter plug to the AC connector on the USB cradle.

  5. Step 5

Plug the USB connector cable on the cradle to its corresponding port on your computer.

  6. Step 6

Place the Axim on its USB cradle. Make sure the power indicator lights up to indicate that your Axim is charging.

  7. Step 7

Allow the hand-held to charge until the battery indicator is full.

Tips & Warnings
  • Maximize battery life by using a lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries have a longer battery capacity than conventional batteries, and they also have the added advantage of being able to be recharged before they are fully drained without affecting battery life.
  • The USB cradle of your Dell Axim also has a Battery Charging Slot so you can charge an extra battery, even while you’re charging the primary battery.
  • Be careful not to overcharge the battery. It can shorten the battery life.
