One of the perks of having a Web site is being able to share photos. With your own personal Web site you can start to post your pictures online and have your friends and family see them. Follow these steps to use your GeoCities Web site to share photos.

Things You'll Need:

Internet access
Computer
GeoCities account

Step 1

Go to the Yahoo! GeoCities home page and log in to your account. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password.
Step 2

Go to the "Page Builder" page and click on the “Pictures” button in the tool bar.
Step 3

Click “Upload” when the pop-up window appears. This will give you the choice of how you want to upload your pictures from your computer.
Step 4

Click “Browse” to start looking for pictures on your computer. If you know where the pictures are you can simply type in the location.
Step 5

When you find the picture you want, click “Upload”. This will put the picture on your Web site.
Step 6

When the picture is uploaded, you will see a confirmation message. Repeat the steps to upload more photos.

Tips & Warnings

When sharing photos make sure the photos are of things you don’t mind people seeing.
Don’t share copyrighted photos.
Make sure you have permission to use photos.
