Internet access

Yahoo! account
Step1
Sign in to your Yahoo! account and navigate to the "GeoCities Control Panel." Pick the “Create a Web Site” link from the “Getting Started” pane. This takes you to a page that gives you the choice between PageWizards and PageBuilder.
Step2
Choose PageWizards and select a template from either the "Quick Start" or "Popular Themes" menus.
Step3
Decide on a style for your page. Quick Start offers you different templates, while Popular Themes lets you select color schemes. Use the “Next” button to move on to the next page. You’ll be hitting that button quite a bit.
Step4
Enter the title of your page and type in a block of text. If you can’t think of anything to write, just put “hello” in the text field for now. You can always come back when you have something to say.
Step5
Pick images to appear on your site. Depending on the template or theme you chose, you may be able to write a caption. Keep using the “Next” button. You are almost ready to publish.
Step6
Create links to some of your favorite sites or remove them completely from your page. Depending on the template you use, creating, adding or removing links may occur later in the process.
Step7
Decide how much of your personal information you want to display to the world and name your Web page. One more click on the “Next” button gets you ready to publish to the Internet.
