Step 1
Get online and sign in to your Yahoo! account. On your home page, click on "More Yahoo!" to get to the "A to Z" index. Under "G," select "GeoCities," which will take you to the "GeoCities Control Panel."
-
Step 2
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the "GeoCities Community" pane. Click on "GeoCities Directory" to get to the "Member Pages Directory."
-
Step 3
Look on the top left-hand corner of the page. You should see a “My Listings” bar. If you have any pages listed in the directory, you should see the last bit of their addresses displayed as a link, followed by a category link.
-
Step 4
Write down the pages you have in the directory. Go under the “Web Site Tools” bar and click on "File Manager." You will need to open "File Manager," which will take you to a page that displays all of the HTML files that make up your Web sites that you have created with GeoCities.
-
Step 5
Compare the file names that are currently listed in the Member Pages Directory to the displayed files. Note any files that you have in the File Manager but are not listed in the directory.
-
Step 6
Go back to the "Member Pages Directory." Use the category that your site is listed under as a search term. Find your page from the list of results to double-check that is indeed in the listings.
