How to Install a Yahoo 360 Blog on Your GeoCities Web Site

A 360 blog is an easy way to stay connected with your friends and family using your Geocities Web page. After you have built a basic Web page, it is a fairly simple task to start your 360 blog. Below is a list of instructions to help you start a Yahoo 360 blog on your Geocities Web site.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
Step1
Go to the Geocities Web site and log in. Click on the "Create and Update" button under the control panel.
Step2
Go to Blogtools and click on the "360 Bloglink." Choose the standard Blogcreation by clicking on the "Standard" button.
Step3
Enter a nickname and title that will appear on the blog. Then enter a description.
Step4
Leave the box for making the blog your Web site unchecked. Click "Next" at the bottom of your screen.
Step5
Click on the box to confirm the terms and services of Geocities and click the "Activate" button. Your blog is now posted.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can change or edit your blog by using the blog manager.
  • Keep your blog simple and check it periodically after posting it.
