1. Open Yahoo PageBuilder. Make sure you are logged in with your Yahoo ID.

2. Open a new page or select an old page to edit. It is easiest not to do this with a template.

3. Scroll over the “Insert” button at the top of the screen. Under “Basics,” choose the option “Background.”

4. Select either “Backgrounds” for Yahoo-loaded backgrounds or choose “Users” for your own backgrounds, when the “Background Properties” dialog box pops up. Scroll through the backgrounds until you find the one you want.

5. Click “OK” once you have found the background you want. Wait for it to load onto your page.

6. Decide whether or not the background looks good on your page. If it does not, follow steps 3 through 5 again until you find the perfect background.
