How to Add Text to a Web Page Using Yahoo PageBuilder

Once you have created a Web page, you want to add content to it to enhance any images on your site or to state a point. When you have selected a background and added a title, the next step in building a Web page should be to add text. Follow these steps to add text to a Web page using Yahoo PageBuilder.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
  • Yahoo account
  1. Step 1

    Open Yahoo PageBuilder. Log on with your Yahoo ID.

  2. Step 2

    Retrieve a previously saved page and open it. Decide where your text will be going.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the “Text” icon on the top of the screen. Move the new text box where you will be placing your text.

  4. Step 4

    Select the font, font size and color for your text. Type a few words as a test to see that it looks good on the site. Erase that quickly.

  5. Step 5

    Type in your text. Then click outside the text box to see the text clearly on the page.

  6. Step 6

    Preview your work. Save the page once you have approved of the preview.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the font, font size and color are easily seen and read.
  • Have a friend double-check the text for spelling errors.
  • Make sure there are no grammatical errors in your text.
  • Do not use text from another source without citing it correctly. This is plagiarism.
