Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Open your Internet browser. Click on the address bar. Visit the GeoCities Web site and locate the Geocities home page.
Step2
Click "Sign-In"' at the top of the page. This will direct you to the place where you can put your screen name and password. If you don't have an account, click "Sign-Up" under the "Don't Have a Yahoo! ID" banner.
Step3
Locate the "Create and Update" tab on your startup page. It should be towards the top of the page and will be light purple. As soon as you click on it, the tab will become dark purple. This is the section where File Manager is located.
Step4
Look for a subsection named "File Management Tools." You will have scroll down the page to find it. Inside that section is the link to your File Manager. As soon as you click on "File Manager," another page will open. Click "Open File Manager." Now you are in your file manager.
Step5
Find the file that you are going to delete. File names are on the right hand side of the page. Just scroll up and down until you locate the right file.
Step6
Click the little box next to the file name. Once you click it, a little check mark will appear in the box. As soon as you click the box, scroll up the page and find the gray "Delete" button. It is to the right of the "Copy and Rename" buttons. You can also look at the bottom of the page; there is an identical set of buttons down there that perform the same functions.
Step7
Click the "Delete" button. A new window will open and ask if you are sure that you want to delete this file. Now, just click "Delete Files" and you are done. The file is deleted from your storage when you see the message that looks like this: filename.jpg.
