Reheated pasta is never as good as freshly cooked - reheating inevitably overcooks the pasta. But if you've got some left over, here's how to freshen it up.
Add plain pasta and heat for 30 seconds or until hot.
Step3
Drain.
Tips & Warnings
It's best to heat the pasta and sauce separately. (In fact, it's best to just save the sauce and throw out the pasta, if there aren't a lot of noodles left!) But if you've got some already mixed, heat them up in the microwave. Add a little more sauce, if you've got it, so the pasta doesn't dry out.
Reheat baked pasta dishes such as lasagna in a 350 degree oven, covered. Depending on how thick the dish is, it could take from 30 to 45 minutes to heat completely.

Or you can take a quite moist paper towel and place it over the bowl of pasta and heat on Medium until pasta is warm. It allows steam to penetrate the pasta (and sauce) without watering it down. Yummie...
Please be careful when removing the damp paper towel. It can be very hot, depending on how long you heat it.

To reheat prepared pasta, sprinkle some water in dish, cover and microwave. The added water keeps the pasta from drying out. This works with any pasta dish, with or without sauce!

Another easy way to reheat pasta with the sauce already mixed in is to just throw it in a frying pan. It changes the taste and texture slightly, but I've never complained.
