Reheated pasta is never as good as freshly cooked - reheating inevitably overcooks the pasta. But if you've got some left over, here's how to freshen it up. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

      Boil a pot of water on the stove.

      Add plain pasta and heat for 30 seconds or until hot.

      Drain.

Tips & Warnings

  • It's best to heat the pasta and sauce separately. (In fact, it's best to just save the sauce and throw out the pasta, if there aren't a lot of noodles left!) But if you've got some already mixed, heat them up in the microwave. Add a little more sauce, if you've got it, so the pasta doesn't dry out.

  • Reheat baked pasta dishes such as lasagna in a 350 degree oven, covered. Depending on how thick the dish is, it could take from 30 to 45 minutes to heat completely.
